Dr. Jenna Shapka’s Developmental Change and Technology Lab (DCTech Lab) is engaged in research about children’s and adolescents’ development as it occurs within an increasingly technological world. Development is defined broadly, and includes physical, cognitive and socio-emotional development.
The members of the DCTech lab work in a collaborative setting and value new ideas, as well as multiple methods of inquiry. There are many opportunities for students to explore their own research interests, to take part in ongoing research projects, and in general, to develop their skills as social science researchers.
